The Verge

The Verge meets every Tuesday night in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30pm. FREE child care is available.

We always share some type of meal, anything from nachos to beef tips and potatoes. Hebrews coffee house opens about 7:15pm, and conversation goes with the coffee.

We then turn to a short worship time with some contemporary music followed by a Bible lesson, devotional or DVD. This generally leads to very lively discussion. The group is currently studying “Crazy Love” by Francis Chan.

We then close up with prayer concerns and highs and lows. We close at 9:00pm.

Just to clear the air, The Verge is a ministry of Bear Creek UMC.  Some confusion has been noted that you cannot be older than 35… not true – our age group is from 18 and up.

The Verge is a come and see type ministry.  So stop by next Tuesday at 6:30pm and join us, spend the evening and make your own decision about the group if you would like to come back.  If it’s not your style, we understand.
