Nolo Solo Prayer Group
Leader: Amy Vogel
6:30-7:30pm in FLC Room 216
Isolated, scared, angry, hurt, resentful, uncertain and anxious are just a few terms used to describe how you might feel if you are sitting by yourself in church without a certain someone by your side. It could be your spouse, who does not share your level of faith; or perhaps you have a sibling or child who is in a different place with regard to God; or you might have a parent who doesn’t support your walk with Christ. Whatever your situation, we understand because we’ve been there.

Nolo Solo is a Latin phrase that, loosely translated, means “wish not to do it alone.” This prayer group is designed to support, encourage, and most importantly, give a life-line to those going through the struggle of being in a relationship that is spiritually uneven. It is a special pain and one that touches the heart of God. Both in Psalm 34 and 51, we are told God is closest to the broken hearted. These will be our mantras as we gather to discuss and pray. We will be strengthened for it because God will meet our needs there! (Hebrews 7:26)
