Tweens, Faith and Human Sexuality
May 17-18
Friday 7:00-8:30pm, Saturday 9:00am-2:00pm

Created by God is a human sexuality class for students in 5th, 6th and 7th grades. It’s a special program just for tweens, created by United Methodist Minister James Ritchie, and facilitated at Bear Creek United Methodist Church by members Christine Kalmbach and Phil Tyler. A mandatory parent meeting will be held on Thursday, May 9, at 7:00pm to provide information on the curriculum and distribute parent handbooks.

Registration Deadline: Monday, May 6
Cost: $20 per student

Summer Reading Program

Dates: Mondays, June 3 – July 29
Time: 10:00-10:45am (1-year-old – kindergarten)
11:00-noon (Grades 1 – 6)
Place: Fellowship Hall (Library)
Cost: Free

Bear Creek UMC Summer Camps

Don’t miss Summer Blast! Learn about the events that are planned for your family during this free open house Sunday, June 2, noon – 2:00pm in the Family Life Center Gym. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.

Camp BC A new theme each week! Campers will move from station to station for crafts, games, snack and devotions.

Camp Wee Ones Our youngest campers can enjoy a smaller version of Camp BC!

Camp AD Meet at church, then depart for discovery-filled outings.

Age: Grades 1st – 5th
Cost: $25

Vacation Bible School: Kingdom Rock Participants will “Stand Strong for God!” through relevant, interactive lessons that feature adventurous Bible stories. Kids will explore God’s love with songs and games.
Date: June 24-27
Time: 9:00am-noon
Place: Church grounds
Age: 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2012 – completed 5th Grade
Cost: $20 per child ($60 maximum per family)
