For full details on all of our summer camps, please see our KidZone Summer Newsletter.Summer Blast - Tuesday, June 8, 10am-Noon Summer Blast is a time for kidz to celebrate the beginning of summer. Activities include a moonwalk, games, prizes, and much more. You will able to register for our summer programs, and there will be representatives from most summer programs and camps available to answer any questions that you may have. There is no charge to attend and no registration is required. Feel free to come and go as you please. Bring your friends and blast off into the coolest summer ever! Kidz must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event. Don't forget about our Summer Reading Program.Stock up on summer reading supplies at the annual Book Fair. You will be able to purchase new books for yourself, and also have the chance to purchase new books for the church library. A great selection of books will be available for all ages, including children, youth, young adults and adults. The Book Fair will be open at our Summer Blast on June 8, 10am to Noon, and will additionally be open on Sunday June 6 and June 13, from 9:00am to 12:30pm, and during Summer Fun Days on June 17 and 18 from 9:00am to 1:30pm in FLC Room 101/102.General Information for all camps: All participants in the summer programs must be their age as of September 1, 2009 (for preschool children) or have completed the specified grade.
Camp BC 2010 - Extreme Adventures Tuesday mornings are a great time to get extreme and go on a Road Trip through the United States. experiencing the wonderful music, food, and cultures of our neighboring states. Camp BC will be held from 9am to Noon on selected Tuesdays this summer. We will start our road trip at the welcome center to find out facts about the state we are visiting. Then will travel to the next pit stop for a little local cooking. Then take a Bible detour to listen to our daily devotion. Next we travel down the road to the local mechanics station inventions & crafts. Then we will travel to the entertainment district to experience the local music. We will end our day at the sports arena playing sports and recreation from our visiting state.Cost for each camp is $12 per child, 4yrs-5th grade (please read age requirements on the front page). Registration deadlines are 7 days before each camp. Late registrations will not be accepted.
Camp AD – Adventure Dayz! Journey with your friends on these exciting field trips. They are designed for 1st–5th graders. Space is limited so register early to reserve your spot! Due to summer heat, it is imperative that every child travel with a water bottle and sunscreen. All children must wear comfortable walking/water shoes and their KidZone t-Shirt (provided when you register for Camp BC or Camp AD).
