“As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” John 20:21

The Missions Committee is committed to providing multiple opportunities for all people of BCUMC to grow in their discipleship and faith as we reach out to share the love of Christ by serving our community and the world. Join us as we put our faith in action and make connections with our many local and global projects.

The angels are coming!

This Christmas season, Bear Creek UMC will once again reach out to connect with more than 100 Angel Tree children and their caregivers. Your help is needed as we share God’s love, our love, and the love of their incarcerated parent with each one of the children.

The Angel Christmas Tree will be in the Sanctuary Narthex onSunday, November 23 and Sunday, November 30.The tree will be filled with angels that request two gifts for each child. Every Angel Tree youngster will receive a clothing gift and a toy or other fun present. These gifts should be in the $20-$25 price range.

In addition to two gifts, each child and caregiver will also receive a stuffed stocking as a gift from our church. There will be angels on the tree requesting stocking stuffers, as well as angels requesting gift cards for each family.

Gifts may be left in the Narthex on Sunday, November 30 or Sunday, December 7. Gifts may also be dropped by the church office November 24 to December 5. All gifts, stocking stuffers, and gift cards must be turned in by Sunday, December 7.

As always, your help with this very rewarding outreach mission is appreciated. If you would prefer to make a monetary donation, please make checks payable to BCUMC with “Angel Tree” in the memo line.
