Invite Someone to Breakfast
BCUMC is making some changes to the Sunday breakfast program this year to provide you with an opportunity to bring someone new to Bear Creek United Methodist Church. Our first church-wide breakfast this year is on Sunday, January 17, and will be provided by the members of the Genesis Sunday School class, who are known world-wide for their Mickey
Mouse pancakes. We hope that the prospects of a good breakfast, along with our many great church services and classes, will provide an opening for you to invite your friends, neighbors, co-workers, or someone you met in the cereal aisle at HEB to visit our church family.
 
Third Sunday Breakfast
There will be several changes to the Sunday Breakfast program this year, the first of which is to have this event only on the 3rd Sunday of each month. There were many conflicts each year with the first Sunday (e.g., 4th of July, Labor Day, the Men’s Retreat) and this will reduce the number of times a group is needed to cook per year. This provides us with the chance to put some extra-special touches on your morning choices. While our regular breakfast fare is always a good choice, we know there are some aspiring Food Network Challenge members out there who would like to provide something a little extra to go along with our normal breakfast.

Join the Third Sunday Breakfast Ministry
Are you interested in being a part of a cooking team, but are not a member of a Sunday School class? Is your class too small to take on the entire breakfast responsibility? Just let us know by sending us an email at the address below. We will include you with a current class team or perhaps form a new team with all the volunteers. The 2010 class cooking schedule is being completed and will be sent out in the coming weeks.
