Each year adult mission trips are scheduled to regional, national and international locations. Previous trip locations have included Kenya, Bolivia, Jamaica, Tennessee, Mexico, and Costa Rica.At Bear Creek UMC our various fundraising events continue to support Nothing But Nets - a campaign to help prevent malaria across Africa. Millions of people die each year from malaria; but there's a simple, life-saving solution; and all it takes is $10 to buy a bed net, distribute it to a family, and explain its use. Our goal is to raise both awareness and funds for this joint campaign to express the love of Jesus Christ in a practical way.2008 Mission Team - Costa Rica
