Faith Group Schedule for Spring 2010 to be posted soon.What are Faith Groups? Faith Groups are local communities of students and adult leaders who gather weekly to help each other grow and live in the way of Jesus. We believe every youth longs for a place where they will be known, loved, celebrated, and challenged. They crave to have real friends who are willing to help them make sense of this life and how God is at work. Faith groups are that kind of communities that will accept students where they are on their spiritual journey and are willing to journey with them and help them live out their faith and witness the transforming power of it. Would you like to HOST a Faith Group?What do I have to do? You have to be willing to open your home to teens once a week and provide refreshments. Would you like to LEAD a Faith Group?What do I have to do?You will be teamed up with another willing adult, and together you will work through a series of interactive studies. There will be a mandatory training session that will equip you with the tools necessary for leading a faith group. Jr. High Faith Group (6th - 8th grade)Faith groups are small groups of students and leaders who get to explore the Bible, their relationship with God, and how to live life in Jr. High School. They are designed to take our big group and make it smaller and more intimate, so you get to build some really great relationships with other students and adults. Small Groups are a great place to grow in your faith! We meet off-campus - hosted in homes of church members. *On Wednesday nights we meet at church for BCU.Sr. High Faith Groups (9th - 12th grade)At the heart of each person there is a common desire. It is the desire to be safe. We all want a place where we can share our hearts without fear of rejection. And we all need a place where we can simply live life with others who understand. This is what small groups are all about. Small groups are a place where you can invest your life in the lives of others and where others can invest their lives in yours.
