Bear Creek UMC and MESA Outreach will distribute a holiday food box to families in our community. The pandemic has catastrophically impacted our neighbors. Sharing what you can will mean so much to families who are struggling.
Bring your donations to Bear Creek UMC (16000 Rippling Water Drive) on:
Saturday, 11/14 from 10am-2pm
Wednesday, 11/18 4pm-7pm
Sunday, 11/22 before and after the 9:00AM church service
We will be collecting:
- Monetary donations for a turkey per food box
- Peanut butter, jelly
- Pasta, pasta sauce
- Canned fruit, cake mix, canned icing
- Boxed potato or stuffing mix, soup
- Canned beans, canned vegetables, condiments
- macaroni and cheese
- breakfast foods(cereal, oatmeal, pancake mix and syrup)
- rice and beans (1 lb or 2 lb bags)
- canned meat (tuna, chicken, chili, canned pasta with meat etc.)
MESA will hold drive-thru food distribution event on Tuesday, November 24th.
Can you give us some of your time?
We need 10 additional volunteers to help MESA volunteers with distribution of boxes on Tuesday, 11/24. If you can help, be at the church from 4pm-7pm. Email to kmweaver_us@yahoo.com to sign up to volunteer.
