Holiday & Advent Season Schedule Updates

With Thanksgiving only 2 days away, we wanted to share some important updates and reminders to help us all prepare for this wonderful time of the year.

Special Events:

  • Christmas Cantata: Join us on December 3 for the first Sunday in Advent, featuring the Christmas Cantata “A New and Glorious Morn” during our One United Worship Service at 10:00am.
  • Bear Creek Pre-School Christmas Pageant: The Bear Creek Pre-School Christmas Pageant is on December 13 at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. It’s always a heartwarming event!

Worship Services Schedule:

  • December 3: The Cantata “A New and Glorious Morn” during our One United Worship Service at 10:00am.
  • December 20: Our beautiful Poinsettias will be delivered. Please sign up to honor or remember loved ones. Each plant is $15 and yours to take home.
  • December 24: We have three special Christmas Eve Services planned: 10:00am with Communion, 5:00pm Family Service with Communion and glowsticks, and a traditional 7:00pm Candlelight and Communion Service.
  • December 25: Celebrate Christmas Day at home as we remember the birth of Christ. (No Worship Service on campus)
  • December 31: Join us for our One United Worship Service at 10:00am.

Holiday Office Schedule:

  • Thanksgiving Week: The office will be closed on Wednesday, November 22, and Thursday, November 23. We take this time to express our gratitude for our many blessings and wish everyone a safe and blessed Thanksgiving.
  • Christmas Week: Closed on Monday, December 25, Tuesday, December 26, and Thursday, December 28.
  • New Year’s Week: Closed on Monday, January 1, Tuesday, January 2, and Thursday, January 4.
  • Reminder: The office is not open on Fridays.

Classes and Meetings Updates:

  • December 3: The Disciple class will proceed as scheduled.
  • December 3: “Let’s Talk” session is moved to December 10th.
  • December 4: No Bible study on Monday the 4th.
  • December 5, 12, 19: Join our Bible Cafe Advent Bible Study, “Christmas from John.”
  • December 6, 13: All normal Wednesday activities will continue as usual.

As we come together during this special time of year, let’s cherish each moment and make lasting memories with our church family. We look forward to celebrating this season of joy and thanksgiving with each of you.
