Bear Creek United Methodist Church School has doubled its capacity to serve children, who fall between the ages of 12 months and 24 months before September 1, 2012. Children in this age group attend two days a week from 9:00am to 1:00pm and go home for nap time. BCUMC School provides hands-on learning through kindergarten, including a transition class, and may have a limited number of openings in other ages. BCUMC SCHOOL offers TWO 3-day camps for children ages 2 years through completed second grade in June – Summer Fun Days and Science Camp. See below for details.

Bear Creek United Methodist Church School believes each child, as a child of God, is worthy of love, acceptance and support. Our philosophy incorporates the understanding that each child has a unique learning style and stage of development.

A discovery approach to learning is offered and provides opportunities for observation and hands on experiences. This awareness that children learn best through play, and providing rich experience to observe and participate, is known as “The Bear Creek Way.”
