We do church for our young people, the lifeblood of our church. We have an awesome youth program for kids from Middle School through High School.

ATTENTION PARENTS: It’s a new school year, and that means that the youth ministry needs new parental consent forms for all of our students.  We want to make sure we have all of the necessary information in order to contact you and take care of our students in case of an emergency. Please download and complete the forms, which can be turned in to Lisa on Sundays or placed in her box in the church office.

Each year, our missions and Angel Tree ministries provide meals for families in need. The turkeys are out and about on our campus, and feathers are there for the taking!! All donations should be returned to the church no later than November 15. On Saturday Nov. 21, we need all hands on deck to help pack food boxes and help our missions team prepare for the holiday season. Donations Needed

BCY is collecting NEW socks and clean, gently used coats and jackets (children, youth, and adult sizes are all welcome) for the HNWCC food pantry to pass out with their Thanksgiving food boxes. All donations can be dropped off with Lisa in the church office or in the youth lounge on or before Sunday, November 15th.

Our 2015-16 Student Leadership Team meets on the 2nd & 4th Sundays of the month at 3:30 p.m. in the Youth Lounge.

Confirmation is at 9:30 a.m. in FLC 205/206.

The Bear Creek Youth Confirmation is open to students 6th grade and older. This program, from September 2015 to May 2016, is a year full of interactive learning where the students will be invited to take the next steps on their journey of faith.  Our confirmation class focuses on:

  • Learning the Biblical Narrative:  Students will spend the first half of confirmation learning the epic story of the Bible.  We’ll discuss the story of God’s redemption from Genesis to Revelation, focusing on the patriarchs of the Old Testament, the prophets and kings of Israel, and the promised savior, Jesus Christ.
  • Wesleyan theology as it relates to Grace, the Trinity, the Church, and the Sacraments.
  • Understanding what it means to claim your faith as your own and becoming a full member of Bear Creek United Methodist Church.

As part of its efforts to support our Bear Creek community, Bear Creek Youth is collecting items to donate to the Houston Northwest Community Center Food Pantry. Please drop donations in the Youth Lounge.
